Recipe for Success: Hotdish and You
Contact hostess for details on date, time, location. Please note a Wisconsin State Journal reporter will be covering the party in the wake of the 53704 Frame by Frame Film Festival on November 4.
‘Important’ Details
- Guests, please bring hotdish, salad, dessert or other tasty, homemade dishes to pass, labeled with info on contents (gluten, nuts, OK for vegans, etc.).
- In the hallway: Hostess provides half barrel of Lake Louie Warped Speed Scotch Ale, assorted house wine, plus cash bar. In the party room: Hostess offers fizzy water, nonalcoholic beer, probably juice and/or soda.
- Optional activities for children will be in own room with nonparental supervision.
- Jell-O singing will occur if the crowd so demands.
- Food pantry donations accepted.
- To stay on guest list, people who cannot attend or realize they muddled the dates should let the hostess know.
Jell-O Contest
Participation optional. Creators use gelatin and perhaps other food and/or inedible objects in their entries. Hoedown guests select winners through secret balloting — and they are encouraged to vote early (but not often) in the evening to speed counting.
