What can we say?
- With the pandemic and all, the annual potluck is (mostly) going online.
- Jell-O master Jim Good will hold a how-to Jell-O session via Zoom on Sunday, January 24, at 7 p.m. To register, email the hostess.
- Souvenir face masks will be available for pickup or postal delivery.
- Start boiling water: The Jell-O Contest will go on. Saturday’s festivities will include a song or two, pontification, breakout rooms and presentations by Jell-O contestants. Additional ideas welcome. The Zoom will be recorded.
- Jell-O Contest voting will take place electronically Saturday night and Sunday morning. Hostess will tally votes just once. Really.
- Jell-O contestants can bring their works to hostess’ yard by 2 p.m. Sunday, January 31, when all are invited to gather outside (masked and distanced) for the Jell-O trophy awards ceremony, hot drinks and a (muffled) song or two. Gathering also will be zoomed and recorded.
